Sinaware ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Effort Tracker extension for Azure DevOps. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.

When you use Effort Tracker, we collect:
- Time Log Entries: Hours logged, activity types, notes, and associated work item IDs
- User Information: Your Azure DevOps user ID and display name (as provided by Azure DevOps)
- Organization Data: Your Azure DevOps organization name for data isolation
2.2 Data Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: Feature usage patterns to improve the Service
- Technical Data: Error logs for troubleshooting
2.3 Payment Information
Payment processing is handled by Paddle. We do not store credit card numbers or payment details. Paddle's privacy policy applies to payment data.

We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain the Service
- Store and retrieve your time log data
- Generate reports and analytics within your organization
- Process subscriptions and manage seat counts
- Respond to support requests

4. Data Storage and Security
4.1 Storage Location
Your data is stored in Microsoft Azure - Switzerland North region. Data is isolated by organization using necessary measures, ensuring complete separation between organizations.
4.2 Security Measures
- All data transmission uses HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Azure DevOps token validation for all API requests
- Organization-level data isolation
- No cross-organization data access
4.3 Data Retention
Your time log data is retained as long as your organization uses the Service. You may request data deletion at any time.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with:
- Microsoft Azure: For data storage infrastructure
- Paddle: For subscription and payment processing (organization name only)
We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access: Request a copy of your data
- Correction: Update inaccurate data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your data
- Export: Export your data in CSV format (available in Reports Hub)
- Object: Object to certain processing activities

7. Cookies and Tracking
The Effort Tracker extension does not use cookies. The extension operates within Azure DevOps and relies on Azure DevOps session management.

Your data may be processed in regions where Microsoft Azure data centers are located. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers.
